Fall Colors

The other day I made a statement about the color of the fall leaves this year and someone (rather strongly) disagreed with me. Since that interaction I've taken another look around and decided I stand by my original statement.

I think this has been one of the prettiest fall seasons in quite a few years.

Feel free to disagree or argue other years, but I stand by my statement. The colors this year have been outstanding.

I agree. There is one street on campus lined with these bushes that have turned the most intense red color. It's like driving down the road with fire on both sides. Amazing.

Karen, it's funny you should say the street looks like fire. That particular variety of shrub is called a, "Burning Bush".

Kyle, did you write again? It hasn't been quite a whole year since last time, so I thought I was safing skipping you on my last pass through the blogroll. ;-)

I'm going to have to get some of those bushes for my yard... they are so beautiful.

Also, we've know each other for about 33 years (give or take) and my name has NEVER been spelled with an 'e'

Just saying.

LOL! I know. I write multiple checks every month for Karen at the pregnancy center, and I write reviews and close leads for my teller named Karen, and both must have ingrained themselves into my brain. As soon as I posted it, I told Ell I'd misspelled it. She laughed at me, too. Thanks for rubbing it in. :)
