Day three and a half
No Shave November is upon us. My beard is three days old and already nicely filling in. I'll probably trim my goatee this coming weekend so it all grows together and looks uniform. Right now is just looks like I lost my razor or got really lazy. Defining the lines of the beard will change that though.
So who's joining me? Kevin, Dave, Dave, the other Dave, Chris, Paul, Steve, John, Kyle? How 'bout you ladies? Any of you brave enough to join in the November fun?

I may have exchanged vows that read, "In sickness and in health, in Richness and Poorness, to death do us part..." But I just went back and re read the fine print and I am pretty sure I can see a clause that says, "Or until you go a month without shaving."
Darn the luck, it probably would really help keep me warm. Goodness knows no one else would be.
Please help me understand how not shaving my arm pits for 1 month is "fun".

Betsy, maybe the better question is you explaining how shaving your armpits for a month IS fun? Let it go lady! I already have you convinced showering often and wearing deodorant are overrated, now you need to see that shaving is too. I'll give you the armpit thing might be too much if you're trying to be presentable at work, etc. But at least let the legs go. :-)
Well, I didn't realize I was in a contest, but I hadn't shaved my legs for at least 10 days!
It's bad enough I can't cut the hair on my head, but no shaving? Are you kidding?
I'm in. I got about a week head start already. there's a bunch of guys on my floor doing it too. who wants to bet i'm the most patchy?
I did get part of my leg waxed for a fund raiser for the national breast cancer foundation...
You know I think I'll give it a shot; even though I shaved Sunday, so I'm a little behind.
Listen......I was just stranded in the middle of nowhere for almost two weeks with no razor. I've got hair build-up like no ones business. I think I've got this little competition in the bag, and I'm gonna look darn sexy while accepting my reward.

Actually, I'm kinda dissapointed in how the beard looks this year. I mean, it came in very full and red like it usually does, but I messed up the shape from the get-go and then had to stick with it so it didn't look bad. Since I have to be presentable every day at work, there was no way I could let it just fix itself. All that to say, I may shave it back to the original gotee and restart the beard so I'm fully hairy by Christmas. We'll see.
