I know, I know

So I know I wrote this big long diatribe about no one blogging anymore and then I proceeded to take more breaks than anyone. Sorry. But I have a good excuse.

If you haven't heard me say it before (and if you haven't you've been ignoring me), I'm posting the daily journals of my friends, Jason and Diana, as they thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. They have been mailing me their handwritten thoughts, and I've been posting them on their own website. For those of you who haven't checked it out, (#1, you're missing an awesome adventure, and #2, you're five months behind) the link is in my blogroll under Jason and Diana. If you're more of a quick-clicker, then the link is HERE. They just finished Monday but I have about two more weeks of writing to finish their tale. So check it out. But be careful, you may get hooked and find yourself reading all five months.

Oh, and I'll stop by here when I can.

The Street Fair

It's that time again. I saw Kevin and Kimmy tonight so I may not go back tomorrow. Who am I kidding? I can't miss a day of it. It's funny... I have so many friends that despise the Columbiana Street Fair, but Ell and I love it. Unfortunately, she hasn't been able to go the last two nights. She had her Practicum last night (her 120 hours in 8 weeks Senior class nursing residency) and she is working tonight at the nursing home. So tomorrow will be her only chance to enjoy the fun.

Anyone want to go with us?

Friday Funny

Two elderly women were eating breakfast in a restaurant one morning. Ethel noticed something funny about Mabel's ear and she said, 'Mabel, do you know you've got a suppository in your left ear?' Mabel answered, 'I have a suppository in my ear?' She pulled it out and stared at it. Then she said, 'Ethel, I'm glad you saw this thing. Now I think I know where to find my hearing aid."

Have a great weekend everyone.
